This Week for reading my goal was: Use Questions to challenge the text Question the author establish the authenticity of the text and state opinions. For this Task we had to fill out a padlet. We had to answer some questions, with questions that we wanted to ask the author. Here are What I answered with. Thank you for reading my blog.
Have you ever used padlet??
Which article was authentic? How did you come to work this out? Give 2 examples from both texts to backup your reasoning as to why it was fake or authentic.
Answer: I think that the second article is real and the other one is fake because in the second book it actually showed pictures of the school and the kids and the other one didn't the first one also didn't have the much writing and also was written in a bit of spanish and the first one was clear easy to read and had lot of information.
Write two questions that you would like to ask the author if ever given the chance to do so.
Answer: 1. Did this book mean anything to you when you wrote it ?.
2. Why did you choose to write about this ?.
State your thoughts and opinions about both pieces of text - was there a particular part of the text that changed your opinion from the beginning?
Answer: In the first text it was written in spanish so it was hard to read and also the title was Honduras would ban homework which sort of gave the book away and there was no point
Add your infographic showing ways in which we can be aware of fake news articles online.
Answer: You can usually tell when things are fake when they
- haven't got much info-when there writing isn't consistent
- and when there title gives it away
