PBL Collaboration

hey hi hello and welcome back to my blog.

At the start of this term/year we were introduced to our PBL ( project based learning ) it was to create and design a fun fair game that all ages could play our fair is on the 8th of march so we had a fair amount of time to think create and design a masterpiece it's now the week of the fair and I'm super excited to share our fair game. 

For the past few weeks we have been getting ready to hold the school fair. We have been designing building and creating our masterpieces. Today I am going to state  what I think I did well and what I think I could work on. Here is some ideas of what a good collaborator does

• Cares for group - I think that I have cared for my group but sometimes when the group doesn't listen or is getting off task Its kinda annoying so I did start to get a bit frustrated but overall I think I did care for the group 
• Talks to the group - I think that I did talk to the group because at the start we all had to share ideas work out what was going to work the best what people want to do what parts would be there strengths and stuff like this 
• Shares ideas - I think I shared a lot of ideas and I think when I did then everyone felt comfortable to share their ideas and I think that lead our group to do well. I also think that I shared good ideas like what we could draw on our wood what colours what we were going to do and things like that. 
• Listens to each other - I think that at the start we listened to each other but when people started to not listen and just sit there while the other people did everything we started to drift apart and not listen anymore but I think that we have been listing as it gets closer to the fair. 
• Helps their group - I think that I did really well helping our group I tried to make everyone to feel included and I tried really hard to get enough done everyday so that we didn't full behind and that we would get our work finished. 
• Easy to work with ( doers ) - I think that I was easy to work with sometimes at the start I think I was easy to work with but as we had to do more I think that some people were making it a bit harder and I started to get a bit frustrated which lead to me not being as easy to work with but now I think that I have been easy to work with because I have tried to be easy to work with. 
• Hard working - I think I have been really hard working because I have really tried to help and do things that will put us on track to finishing our work and finishing of the little parts that we had to do so overall I think that I have been very hard working. 
• Do their fair share - I think that me and Eilish have done more than our fair share but I think that Iker and Jack have been a little bit on the not as helpful and haven't really done their fair share.
• Use others strengths + skills - I think that we kinda used others strengths and skills everyone was kinda good at everything so we all just helped with everything.

Hello and welcome back I hope you have had a great holiday.



For the last week we have been focusing on our NEW Pbl driving question ( How can I celebrate who I am) Basically what this means is how can we celebrate ourselves our culture and our family traditions. For example I could celebrate being a New Zealander and my family tradition could be having dinner every night. Thank you for reading my blog I hope you learnt a thing or 2 about what we have been doing for the first week at school.

Hello and welcome back to my blog

For the past few months we have been focusing on our PBL driving question What will the future ask of us. My partner and I decided to make pot plants out of plastic bottles to do this we needed plastic bottles plants paint and our labels. For our sub atterfacts we made posters pamphlets and business cards. Our group had a bit of a tough start and our main idea went down the drain but now we have created something in the time to present and show to the parents. Even though it was tough I still really enjoyed doing it. Thank you for reading my blog.

Hello and welcome back to my blogs


For the past couple of weeks we have been starting to plan and create our T3 PBl projects. Our Pbl driving question is what will the future ask of us. We got to work in a group of 2 or by ourselves but they encouraged us to go in a group my partner is Ella and we are going to melt old barbies to use there plastic to make new things like stickers we are also going to be melting plastic bags to be making our own business cards. I hope you enjoyed reading my blog maybe you could try this to.
